
Supervision
Dr Emily McBride offers supervision services in clinical health psychology, behavioural science, and public health. She is also a registered Stage 2 supervisor for the British Psychological Society Stage 2 Qualification in Health Psychology, meaning she can act as Co-ordinating Supervisor for Trainee Health Psychologists. She is experienced in supervising clinical work, research projects, leadership skills, and career progression.
Qualified Practitioner Supervision

Dr Emily McBride offers ad-hoc and regular supervision to psychologist practitioners and other professionals. Depending on your development needs, we will tailor the supervision meetings accordingly. This may be to support your clinical work or for help with research ideas and service development, as you transition through your career.

Areas of speciality include clinical health psychology (ACT, CFT, EMDR), behaviour change, and public health and policy. The integration of specialist health psychology and behavioural science models are offered within therapeutic formulations and intervention development (e.g. Leventhal's CSM, COM-B, MINDSPACE, necessity-concerns framework).

Furthermore, Dr McBride has worked in senior policy and leadership roles, meaning that she can help support career development. She has experience in clinical NHS supervision, as well as providing research project supervision at UCL, KCL, and other prestigious institutions.

Trainee Psychologists - Stage 2 Qualification in Health Psychology

Are you looking for a Stage 2 supervisor? Dr Emily McBride is a registered Co-ordinating Supervisor for the British Psychological Society (BPS) Stage 2 Qualification in Health Psychology. This qualification takes a minimum of two years full-time practice, post completion of an approved MSc in Health Psychology. To be supervised by Dr McBride, aspiring trainee health psychologists are expected to have achieved at least a Merit in their MSc in Health Psychology. They will also need to demonstrate some clinical or workplace experience, or have a plan in place for gaining relevant experience.
